2 arrested for killing sheep

The police on Tuesday arrested two persons for allegedly killing a five-month-old sheep. They were released on bail. The police said Meher Sheikh (29), has been staying on rent in Brahman Wadi in a flat owned by Syed Nakkan. She registered a complaint stating that her sheep was killed by her landlord’s sons.

The police said Meher Sheikh (29), has been staying on rent in Brahman Wadi in a flat owned by Syed Nakkan. She registered a complaint stating that her sheep was killed by her landlord’s sons.

Nakkan said, “She just wants to encroach upon my property and not pay any rent for it.”

The post-mortem report revealed that sheep was first gagged and hit with an iron rod, leading to the death.
