Eight supporters of Ramdev Baba continue to fast at Azad Maidan even as the yoga guru lies in hospital at Haridwar.
“Swamiji (Ramdev) told us to quit fasting and start an awareness drive for the common people. So some of us called off the strike but eight supporters continued with their fast and said they would not quit until Swamiji quits,” said Suresh Naik, Mumbai president of Ramdev Baba’s Bharat Swabhiman Nyas.
Meanwhile, Ramdev’s supporters in the city have organised a prayer meet at Siddhivinayak Temple on Sunday to pray for his health.
