According to the Maharashtra Universities Act, results have to be declared within 45 days of the conclusion of the exam. BCom exams ended on April 9, almost three months ago.
More than 83,000 students took the BCom exam this year.
“There only 1,000 answer sheets left to assess. Once that is done this we have to compile the results. The results should be out in the first week of July,” said Vilas Shinde, controller of examinations.
The primary reason for the delay is that teachers do not turn up to assess the papers.
