How do you maintain signboards? We have a crane that we use to maintain signboards and about 30 workers for such work.
Many signboards are blocked by tree branches or posters. Why hasn’t anything been done about that? When we spot a signboard or signal blocked, say, by a tree, we write to the BMC to cut the branches. However, BMC officials don’t do the work or delay it.
What care have you taken to place signboards such that they are clearly visible? We take special care to ensure that signboards are clearly visible. As far as their clarity is concerned, we look even at minute details, such as the radium tape colour, so that they are clear.
What about pedestrians walking on the road? The pedestrians should restrain from walking on the road for their own safety. There are footpaths for them.
