A 37-year-old man suffered grievous injuries after a BEST bus hit him on Wednesday.

A 37-year-old man suffered grievous injuries after a BEST bus hit him on Wednesday.
Muslin Duglia, was returning home to celebrate Bakri Id with his family when the accident took place. Duglia owns a mutton shop in Jogeshwari (West), the police said.
Around 12.15pm, while Duglia was passing from near the Behram Baug police chowkie in Gandhi Nagar in Jogeshwari (West), a BEST bus route number 180 that was heading from Sion to Malwani, rammed into Duglia’s bike.
“The driver, Sopan Bhamre, has been arrested for causing hurt due to rash and negligent driving. We have also seized the bus,” said DK Rupwate of Oshiwara police station.
