CA arrested for threatening colleague
A chartered accountant, who allegedly threatened a colleague to pay Rs23 lakh, was arrested by the Parksite police on Friday.

The accused Surendra Damble, 56, claimed that the 48-year-old victim owed him Rs23 lakh. “He harassed her to pay up for a year,” said S Pawar, police inspector, Parksite police station.
“In her statement, the victim said that she had given Rs6 lakh to Damble when he was buying a house, which he never returned. He also asked for sexual favours from her,” said KK Khandale, ACP, Vikhroli division. HTC
