Colaba water will be turbid

The civic body, on Monday, issued an advisory, asking Colaba residents to boil and filter their drinking water at least once a week as there is a possibility that it be turbid. The water is being supplied through a pipeline that was recently laid in a tunnel.

Water supply has already been initiated to other parts of A ward through this tunnel, with the water supply to Colaba being added as an extension to the existing distribution flow through the tunnel.

The tunnel was constructed in a bid to facilitate additional flow of water.
