Since 2009, the junior college admissions are conducted online. The education department uploads the cut-offs of the colleges on the website (www.fyjc.org) and colleges can access it through a password.
But a few principals said that they were unable to log in to the website on Wednesday. At Jai Hind College, the first merit list will be declared on the notice board on Thursday. “Till 8.30 pm, we were not able to log in on the website. The password was not getting accepted,” said Joyti Thakur, vice principal of the college.
At Sathaye College, Vile Parle, the principal was not able to access the data either. “We did not get a list for our arts stream for around two hours,” said Kavita Rege, principal.
Education officials said that they did not receive any complaints.
