Constable Yashwant Patil and three others had barged into the house of the complainant while he and six of his friends were playing cards. Patil and three others had booked them all for gambling and fined them each Rs1,200 and demanded Rs10,000 as bribe to be paid by July 20 for not sealing the house as it was used for gambling. The complainant approached the ACB, who registered an FIR and arrested Patil while the victim paid him the bribe.
