Depressed, man ends life
A 24-year-old man hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his house in Ganesh society at Dharavi on Saturday. Police said Dinesh Patwar had committed suicide because he was depressed after his wife deserted him.

A 24-year-old man hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his house in Ganesh society at Dharavi on Saturday.
Police said Dinesh Patwar had committed suicide because he was depressed after his wife deserted him.
The police said Patwar, who had got married six months ago, had an altercation with his wife last week and she went to her parents’ home in Hyderabad. A suicide note found near his body read: "Since you have left me, I am leaving this world." Patwar used to work in a factory that manufactured rakhis.
On Saturday, a distant relative of Patwar’s decided to pay him a visit.
But when he reached his house, he found his body hanging from the ceiling fan.
