Salem, on Friday had moved an application in the court alleging that Asistant Police Inspector Rajkumar Chapekar threatened to kill him following a heated argument between the two.

Salem in his application has said that he refused to be handcuffed as he was an undertrial and that is why Chapekar started abusing him.

“Notice has been served to Chapekar and Taloja jail superintendent by the court”, said Salm's lawyer Teg Bahadur Thakur.
