Advocate Moin Khan, who represents Kasim Bengali, one of the five accused in the rape case, on Thursday filed an application in the court saying, the police did not allow him to meet his client this morning.

Further, advocate Khan said, he was threatened by two constables, who said he should withdraw his 'vakalatnama'.

The policemen abused him in a way that offended his religious sentiments, he alleged.

Magistrate Uday Padwad directed Azad Maidan Police officers to investigate the allegations.

Police today filed a charge-sheet in the gangrape case, where five persons are accused of raping a young photojournalist at Shakti Mill Compound in central Mumbai on August 22.
