The girl identified as Ikara Patthan who studied in Rizvi college in Bandra lost her balance.

She slipped from the stairs and fell on a jackfruit tree, because of which she did not sustain injuries.

The girl was later rushed to Holy Spirit hospital in Andheri (east), for treatment.

“The branch of the jackfruit tree saved her,” said a police officer from the Khar police station.

“Otherwise she could have died or at least broken her limbs,” added the officer.

Pathan’s friend was waiting near the college building. Patthan and her friend had a fight over some issue.

The girl in a fit of rage came to the third floor, which was under-construction and reportedly fell from the college building.
