Lakhan bhaiya case: defence cross-examines brother

Ramprasad, who is Ramanarayan’s brother, was cross-examined on his relationship with witnesses in the case.

Ramprasad told the court that Ramnarayan had introduced the sole eyewitness to the alleged encounter, Anil Bheda, to him. “Prior to the incident (the alleged encounter), Ramnarayan was living with Bheda in Vashi,” Ramprasad told the court.

Ramprasad also said he did not know another witness, Dheeraj Mehta, before the alleged encounter. “The first time I spoke to Mehta was when he called my brother Shyam Sundar on his mobile phone,” he said. The matter will now come up for hearing on Tuesday.
