Owing to the dispute between two factions of the association, questions were being raised about the future of Brand Malabar, a project conceived by the residents and the civic body to give the area a unique identity. “Evaluating the status of the project and deciding the course of action is on our agenda,” said Indrani Malkani, who was elected as the secretary in the meeting.

Rustom Vazifdar was appointed as the chairperson, Mehroo Dubash as the vice-chairperson and Suresh Goklaney as the treasurer.
