Mankhurd man held for murder
A 32-year-old man was arrested on Thursday night for allegedly murdering a man outside a bar in the Mankhurd area.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on Thursday night for allegedly murdering a man outside a bar in the Mankhurd area.
Premsingh Rathod is unemployed and is from the Maharashtra Nagar in Mankhurd. He had an argument with Kanhayilal Gupta (28) over a trivial issue outside Sheetal bar on Sion Panvel Road around 6 pm on Thursday.
A police officer from Mankhurd said: “Rathod was drunk and had a fight with Gupta over a petty issue. The argument turned ugly when Rathod started beating up Gupta.” Gupta was rushed to the Shatabdi Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. Rathod was booked under Section 302 (murder) and arrested him.
