Upping the ante for the civic body, Kunte directed speeding up of projects and called for audit reports on stormwater drains, roads and garden departments by May 25.

With a number of mega projects underway, he also ordered inspection of the work sites by deputy municipal commissioners of their respective zones. Reports on the status of these would have to be submitted by May 20.

Work related to nullah cleaning, completion of road work, tree-trimming and garbage disposal was discussed.

"There was a review meeting held and several issues that arise during the monsoon were discussed. The deadline of May 25 for completion of all work has been set," said additional municipal commissioner, Manisha Mhaiskar.
