MLA demands more security for visitors

The national park incident was raised in the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena legislator Pravin Darekar, who represents the area, brought the attention of the government to the incident.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena legislator Pravin Darekar, who represents the area, brought the attention of the government to the incident.

Darekar said it was not the first time that animals in the park had attacked humans and demanded that security walls be strengthened and the government ensure there was no man-animal conflict. The state government had not made any statement on the issue till evening.
