Joint commissioner of police (crime) Himanshu Roy said that Jundal's arrest has exposed how Pakistan and LeT have been exporting terror to India. "A lot of new information has come to the fore," he said adding that Jundal was one of the masterminds of the 26/11 terror attack case.

He further said the police were determined in putting up a strong resistance to fight terror.

From the crime branch investigations, Jundal has admitted of being in the control room at Karachi from where the 26/11 terror attack was co-coordinated, he said. Kasab and Jundal were also confronted, during which Kasab recognized Jundal, Roy added.

"Jundal was part of the training of the terrorists and was himself trained by LeT seniors in Pakistan," Roy said adding that Jundal was an important operative of LeT who had been given a lot of information.
