Nothing wrong with tree: BMC

On Sunday, the BMC conducted an inspection of the tree, but failed to find any reason for why it fell.

A team of horticulture assistants visited the spot along with additional municipal commissioner, Aseem Gupta, to find out why the branch fell. "Nothing seemed to be wrong with the tree. It was alive and didn't seem to be infected," he said.

This failure to detect the reason, experts say, is thanks to the untrained staff that the civic body has on its rolls.
