Plumber falls off 14th floor in Malad, dies

According to the Kurar police, Azmi was working in the bathroom of a 14th floor flat in the Valentine Towers building in Pimpripada, Malad (East) when he fell. The deceased was bending out to work on the pipes outside the window. He allegedly lost his balance and fell. He died of multiple injuries to his head and limbs.

“The incident was witnessed by the watchman of the building who raised an alarm. Azmi was rushed to the Bhagwati hospital in Borivli, where he was declared dead on arrival,” said a police official.

The police have registered a case of accidental death.
