Security at sessions court reviewed

Following the blast outside Delhi high court last week, the sessions court in Mumbai has decided to beef up the security around the court premises. Surabhi Vaya reports.

Following the blast outside Delhi high court last week, the sessions court in Mumbai has decided to beef up the security around the court premises.

Chief public prosecutor Kalpana Chavan confirmed that a meeting was held with principal judge Swapna Joshi and deputy commissioner of police (Zone 1) Cherring Dorje to review the security arrangements for the area as well the court building.

“We have discussed several strategies to improve security,” Chavan said.
