Sharad Pawar admitted to breach candy

In 2010, Pawar underwent surgery at the same hospital for an oral infection. Sources in the NCP said Pawar had gone to Breach Candy Hospital for a routine check-up. “He goes there regularly for a medical check-up ever since his condition was diagnosed and treated. This visit was nothing more than that,” said a party leader.

Pawar, however, has not been well for the past 3-4 months. Incidentally, the party had announced that Pawar would not be meeting his supporters on his birthday, on Wednesday. His latest trip to the hosptial has set off speculation about the real reason behind the announcement.

Dr Geeta Koppikar, medical superintendent, of the hospital refused to comment. HTC
