Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on Saturday crticised International Cricket Council president Sharad Pawar for his statement that he will push for resumption of Indo-Pak bilateral series.
“There was no need for Pawar to rake up such an issue (matches with Pakistan) without valid reasons?” an editorial in the party mouthpiece Saamna said. “We are cricket lovers and our patriotism takes precedence over this craze for the game,” he said.
