Top official inspects CST’s oldest train

The general manager of Central Railway (CR) Kulbhushan has asked his officers to maintain the Mumbai-Pune Deccan Queen while inspecting one of the oldest train at CST on Monday.

“The GM has asked us to maintain the elegance and prestige of the only train with a dining car,” said a senior CR official on condition of anonymity.

He first inspected the train on December 19, and found the train to be dirty and in a bad shape. Kulbhushan also visited Dadar station on Monday. The platforms have been levelled recently and there are plans to illuminate the entrance of the Dadar station.
