Wielder held for killing co-worker

A man was arrested for killing his co-worker, a 23-year-old wielding operator, at Goregaon. Another accused is absconding.

According to the Unit 12 of the crime branch, on November 6, a body was found near an under construction building, adjacent to Residency Building at Uniya Nagar in Goregaon (East). The body bore no injury marks though during post-mortem it was revealed that the man had been strangulated. The deceased was later identified as Asgharali Sheikh by his brother Mujammil.

The police learnt that Asghar had a dispute with one — Rajesh Sharma, 24. During questioning, Sharma confessed to to the crime. He has been handed over to the Goregaon police.
