While the city’s normal minimum temperature for this time of the year is 18 degree Celsius, the lowest temperature recorded in the city this month has been 20 degree Celsius.

The IMD records minimum temperatures early morning, before 5.30. On November 2, temperatures in the city dipped to 19 degree Celsius.

North-easterly winds over the city and cloudless night skies are factors responsible for the decrease in temperatures.
