Sheikh told the police that she was in a relationship with Malik for the past few months. During this time, he allegedly drugged her and had a physical relation with her. When he asked her to marry him, she refused. This angered Malik, who hired Ali to to disfigure her face. Ali, a resident of Kurla, has several serious offences against him.
