Bank employees robbed of Rs 1.08 crore
After firing several shots, robbers snatched cash bags from the Oriental Bank of Commerce employees as they stepped out.
Four armed robbers snatched Rs 1.08 crore from two employees of a developer outside the Oriental Bank of Commerce at Raj Nagar on Tuesday.
The incident took place when the two employees had withdrawn cash and had stepped out of the branch. There the robbers fired several shots and snatched the cash bags from the two employees. The robbers then escaped in their white coloured i-10 car.
A probe has been launched and the two employees are being questioned by police.
The branch is located in a prime area in Raj Nagar, located next to official residences of senior superintendent of police, Ghaziabad development authority vice chairman and several senior district administration officials.
