Man arrested for attacking resident

Police arrested a 30-year-old man on Friday for allegedly attacking a resident with a knife at a housing society of Omnicron 1 at Dadri in Greater Noida on Thursday evening.

A CCTV camera footage had come to the fore which showed the accused wielding a knife inside a lift.

Sonu Bhati alias Indrajeet was arrested by a team of Dadri Police on Friday morning after Pawan Mishra (32), a resident of Supertech Czar society, alleged that the accused attacked him with a knife.

“We booked Bhati under IPC Section 151(disruption of peace). Then a CCTV footage emerged which showed Bhati carrying a knife while riding a lift with two women,” Satish Kumar, circle officer, Dadri, said.
