Noida: Candidates told to get poll expenditure details reconciled on April 6

District Election Officer NP Singh has sent letters to the candidates of three assembly constituencies of Noida, Dadri and Jewar to submit final expenditure details and get them reconciled with the shadow register. Candidates have to meet the expenditure monitoring committee at the collectorate on April 6. The election expenditure observer will be present in the district on that day.
“Candidates have submitted details twice so far. Some have given expenditure details till February 4 and some up to February 9. Only two candidates of Jewar have submitted details up to February 11 (polling day). Now candidates have to submit their final expenditure list. Counting day expenditure will be included in the expenses as per the election commission guidelines,” Nijlingappa, district treasury officer and local head, expenditure monitoring committee, said on Thursday.
“As per ECI guidelines, on the 26th day after polling, meeting with candidates has to be done to apprise them about the submission procedure and reconciliation of candidates’ expenditure details with the shadow registers maintained by the election expenditure monitoring committee,” he said.
“The election expenditure observer will be in the district from April 5 to April 12. Within a month of the declaration of results, all expenditure records of candidates have to be reconciled and the final candidate-wise expenditure details submitted to the election commission,” Nijlingappa said.
For Dadri assembly constituency, the candidates have submitted details up to February 8. Tejpal Singh Nagar of BJP has submitted expenditure details of Rs. 6,97,668 up to February 8. Sameer Bhati of the Congress has submitted expenditure details of Rs 10,67,622 , Satveer Singh Gurjar (BSP) has submitted details of Rs 5,16,240 and Ravinder Singh Bhati ( RLD) has submitted details of Rs 6,34,004.
For Noida assembly, the candidates have submitted details of expenditure till February 9. Pankaj Singh (BJP) has shown an expenditure of Rs 8,92,665, Ravi Kant Mishra (BSP) of Rs 6,36,653 and Sunil Choudhary (SP) spent Rs 654341. Brijesh (RLD) has submitted expenditure details of Rs1,45,235 till February 4.
For Jewar assembly till February 11, Dhirendra Singh (BJP) has given details of Rs 19,46,381 and Ved Ram Bhati (BSP) Rs 9,83,037. Narindra Nagar (SP) has given expenditure details of Rs 3,53,625 till February 4 and Kamal Sharma (RLD) has submitted details of Rs 4,63,698 till February 8.
