Saina Nehwal thrashed compatriot Aditi Mutatkar 21-6, 21-8, while P Kashyap got the better of England’s Rajiv Ouseph 19-21, 21-16, 21-11. Rupesh Kumar and Sanave Thomas also won their opening day match.
