Minister comes out in support of power-starved Patna City traders

The delegation told the minister that many areas in Patna City were reeling under severe power crisis, ruing that it had badly affected the functioning of industrial units.
Later, Yadav convened a meeting with BSEB chairman P K Rai and chief engineer K P Singh. The minister instructed the officials to rectify snag in 10 MW transformer at Mangal Talab and set up 10 MW feeder in Chowk area.
The minister also told the officials to replace worn out wires, damaged electric poles and enhance the capacity of transformers. BSEB officials were also asked to hold 'Vidyut darbar' to sort out the problems of consumers.
For solving the perennial power crisis in the area, the officers were asked to select a place between Gulzarbagh and Meena Bazar for setting up a power sub-station.
PCVM patron Dev Kishan Rathi, president Pradeep Kumar Singh, general secretary Awadesh Kumar Sinha and convener Dilip Kumar were also present at the meeting.
