Nitish visits Bihar BJP Minister's house

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today visited the official bungalow of a senior BJP Minister Ashwini Choubey and took 'prasad' for 'Bhagwat Puja' being performed there.

State BJP minister NK Yadav and several other party leaders were present there when Kumar reached.

When approached for his comment on the recent development in the NDA in Bihar, Kumar said "I have come to participate in puja and it is not not a political function."

Much significance is being attached to Kumar's visit to Choubey's house in the wake of the rift that had widened in the NDA following the former returning Rs five crore Kosi Relief Fund to Gujarat government.

Choubey had earlier strongly opposed Kumar returning the relief money to Gujarat saying the Chief Minister should have consulted the ministers in the government before taking the extreme step.
