All three judges have been put under suspension, pending an investigation.

In a recent order, the High Court Standing Committee headed by Acting Chief Justice Shivakirti Singh held a former additional district judge of the Patna Civil Court and Chhapra Fast Track Court head Chandrabhushan Kumar guilty of manipulating legal procedures.

The High Court Standing Committee has also banned the promotion of Begusarai district judge and former judge of the CBI in Patna S.K. Lal for a year.

The committee directed the Patna district judge to complete investigations against Judge Munilal Paswan, who had passed an order to absolve former Chief Ministers Lalu Prasad and his wife Rabri Devi in the Disproportionate Assets cases. It directed that the investigations should be concluded within four months from the date of the current order.
