Ganesh Chaturthi 2020: Artisans and devotees prepare for Ganpati festival across India

Ganesh Chaturthi marks the birth of Lord Ganesha, the God of new beginnings. The festival falls in the month of Bhadra as per the Hindu calendar and in the months of August/September as per the Gregorian calendar. This year, the celebrations begin on August 22.
