Leonardo DiCaprio played Jay Gatsby in 2013’s opulent The Great Gatsby. Not only would he not be bothered by the ongoing cash crunch, he’d probably be having a party right about now.

It was rumoured that at one point in his life, the Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, played in the great TV show Narcos by Wagner Moura, was richer than his country - so rich that he would purchase houses just to stash his cash. Yes. he’d have to burn a lot of his black money too, but you can count on him to have all denominations.

Yes, things didn’t end well for Tony Montana (Al Pacino in Scarface), but cash isn’t something he could complain about.

Industrialist John Hammond, played by Richard Attenborough in Jurassic Park is one of the richest movie characters ever. Maybe he could make entry into Jurassic Park free for a couple of weeks.
