The Reserve Bank of India on Wednesday raised its policy for the second straight meeting, citing inflation concerns. The central bank hiked interest rates by 25 basis points to 6.5 per cent, in the second such hike in three months. This will affect EMIs of housing and automobile loans for consumers. Four people had a narrow escape after their car fell into a nearly 20-feet deep ditch created after a portion of a service road caved in along the Agra-Lucknow Expressway on Wednesday morning following heavy rains, police said.
