Photos: Coronavirus spread shuts schools, cinemas

As coronavirus cases continue to surge all over the globe events related to sports, politics and entertainment are being put on hold. Over 134,000 people have been affected and 4,984 people have died so far from the disease. The Delhi government on Thursday declared coronavirus an epidemic and shut all cinema halls, schools and colleges, except those where exams are on, till March 31.

A Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) employee sprays disinfectant in a bus as a measure against coronavirus, at Rajghat Bus depot in New Delhi. “The government is taking precautionary measures at several levels, and especially in public transport system.
