Delhi on July 6 crossed the 100,000 case mark in its ongoing battle against the virus, 127 days since it recorded its first coronavirus disease (Covid-19) case. The crossing of this grim milestone came with some positive news --the city’s daily number of tests continues to rise and improvements have been logged in the recovery rate of people being admitted with the disease. The number of people turning out positive among those tested daily is also down to single digits, a sign that experts are viewing positively when coupled with rising test numbers.
