Photos: INS Jalashwa brings 698 Indians home from the Maldives

The INS Jalashwa, deployed to Male for "Operation Samudra Setu", entered Kochi harbour at around 10:00am on Sunday with a total of 698 Indian nationals who had been stranded in the Maldives due to restrictions related to the coronavirus. The exercise was part of India’s Vande Bharat Mission of for repatriation of Indian nationals from the Middle East and Maldives in the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic.
