The Election Commission is expected to announce the final figures later in the day. If the Karnataka election results favour the BJP, it will bolster PM Modi’s reputation for delivering election victories for the party across the country. The BJP currently shows a lead in 104 seats, while Congress projects a lead in 78 seats.
