PHOTOS: Protesters against CAA and NRC at Jama Masjid

Hundreds of people protested against the Citizenship Amendment Act and the National Register of Citizens in and around the Jama Masjid in Delhi after Friday prayers. Many were holding up the national flag and shouting slogans against CAA. There was heavy police deployment and Delhi police were checking identity cards of all people who were entering the mosque and photographed the ones who did not have ID cards. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation shut the gates of atleast 3 metro stations at 12 30 pm- Red Fort, Chawri Bazar and Jama Masjid.
