Delhi’s commercial business district of Connaught Place has been the heart and soul of its iconic restaurants for decades. With a new-found resurgence of Gastro-Pubs in CP, some of these old world restaurants have received a second lease of life, especially after the Commonwealth Games renovation project was completed nearly seven years ago. United Coffee House in F Block at Inner Circle was established in 1942. During the Pre-independence period, it was a hub for many politicians and bureaucrats. Now it has become very cosmopolitan with all kinds of people walking in. It has a double storey ceiling with the first floor being a mezzanine floor with a balcony. (Anmol Wahi/HT Photo)
