Our mind and body are not always in the sync. We often get into the job life or into studies or get inducted into the drill so much that we forget to take care of our bodies and our health. So much so, that we even misread the signs sent to us by our bodies. Sometimes our bodies communicate to us through pains, stress signs, but we often do not listen. But the right way to strike a balance between a healthy and a busy life is to not ignore the signs. (Unsplash)expand-iconView Photos in a new improved layout

We often forget to take enough rest needed for the body. The body communicates the same through tension in the shoulder muscles. (Unsplash)expand-iconView Photos in a new improved layout

Not all childhoods were happy – some were built in dysfunctional families, replete with trauma signs. Sometimes, when we think of childhood, we may feel a lump in the throat. That is a trauma response of the body. (Unsplash)expand-iconView Photos in a new improved layout

Anxiety can hit us when we are unable to make the right choice. Stomach pain and stomach turning into knots is one of the signs. (Unsplash)expand-iconView Photos in a new improved layout

We often are not comfortable with people coming towards us or sharing a common space with us. Involuntarily we may cross our hands together as an effort to make us feel safe in their presence. (Unsplash)expand-iconView Photos in a new improved layout

The opposite happens when we are surrounded by the people we love. We feel a sense of calmness and relief among them. (Unsplash)expand-iconView Photos in a new improved layout
