With the summers showing a steep rise in temperature, the risk of heat stroke is increasing every day. Heat stroke is a condition when the body temperature control system gets overheated and is beyond control. This mostly happens due to prolonged exposure to heat and absence of cooling mechanisms. "Heat stroke is the most serious heat-related condition and can cause death or permanent disability if treatment is not provided immediately,” explained Nutritionist Anjali Mukerjee.
