Part boho, part chic: Cave-woman-meets-Roman-princess at Milan
Models walk the ramp for the Alberta Ferretti Spring/Summer 2015 collection during Milan Fashion Week. Ferretti had a music festival-theme going with many leather vests atop flowing gowns in the shades of mustard, amber, saffron, off-white and olive. And the fringes! Oh, we are so in love with this cave-woman-meets-Roman-princess look. Might we suggest this for anyone wanting to look elegant and tasteful but laidback cool? The delicacy of her work for spring/summer 2015 included nude chiffon with pleats so tiny they looked as though they had come from the fingers of fairies. The flowers formed a secret garden on the bodice, with nothing lush or sensual.
