Emotional maturity comes with the process of understanding ourselves, becoming more aware of our emotions and the rooted reasons, being more compassionate and knowing how to regulate our emotions. "Emotional maturity is work in progress. We can become aware, have the understanding and the tools, yet we will continue to grow. I usually give the analogy of when we learn to drive, there will be times we stall, and we turn the car back on and continue and learn from what may have happened," wrote Therapist Lalitaa Suglani.
