Photos: Mumbai’s second highest 24 hour September rain spell in 26 years

Mumbai recorded the second-highest 24 hour September rain spell in 26 years between September 22 evening and September 23 morning. This is also the heaviest rain Mumbai suburbs received this season. The city recorded 286.4mm rain in the 24 hour period, categorised as extremely heavy rainfall. Prior to this, Mumbai had recorded 303.7mm rain on September 20, 2016.
