Photos: Republic Day rehearsals begin in Delhi amid a biting cold wave
Jawans from various battalions began the rehearsals for Republic Day 2023 in the capital this week. Soldiers from the Indian Army, the President's Bodyguard, and the Indian Navy, among many others, gathered near the Rashtrapati Bhawan to commence preparations for the much-awaited Republic Day parade amid severe cold wave conditions in Delhi. Even as the capital recorded a minimum temperature of 1.8 degrees Celsius on January 6th, the high-spirited jawans were seen kicking off their boots during foggy mornings for the 74th Republic Day parade.
